Review: Perfectly Broken - Prescott Lane - March 2014

Stunned by a tragedy years ago, Peyton is not one to go out on a date and she is wary of strangers so when player Reed Langston waltzes into her pie shop "Adelaide's Pies" named after her Grandmother aka Gram and asks her out , she is quick to turn him down. Reed not used to rejection and also there is something about Peyton that makes him want to know her more and maybe even settle down - what a shocker. Over the next course of the novel, we read as Reed will try to win Peyton over till she reluctantly agrees to date him. Though it seems someone else closer to her wants to win her heart as well - Griffin and the more complicated thing is that Griffin and Reed go way back and not in a good way either.  Can Reed be trusted with Peyton's fragile heart ? Will Reed be the one that will be able to help Peyton move forward from the attack that has left her jaded and afraid ?
Find out in this edgy New Adult that deals with the aftermath of Rape and the relationships that follow.
