Review: Imperfectly Perfect -Book#1 A series of Imperfections - A.E Woodward - June 2013

Life for Emma growing up was hard as she went against everything her mother told her - Emma was destined to be a guy's girl rather than a girly girl.  The story starts off with Emma reflecting back on her life and then ending the prologue to talk about the moment that changed her life for good. Then the novel flips to Chapter One and we meet a hungover Emma and her three flatmates Shane, Rob and Tyler.  On a whim Shane decides that the four of them needs to go "real" Go-Karting and they head off to Boston. Whilst at Go-Karting, Emma by Rob is thrown a bet to get the instructor's digits - not one to back down from a challenge -Emma ends up winning the bet and soon we watch as she starts to date Ethan - the college instructor. During the relationship and the rest of the book , we watch the dynamics of the foursome especially that between Emma and Shane and we start to wonder whether or not the duo will get together or end up friends for life . As sparks fly and a love triangle develops between Emma, Ethan and Shane - we wonder who will Emma choose ? Which one is Emma's soulmate and What will be the moment in her life when she discovers that she is Imperfectly Perfect ?

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
